Metal Earth 3D Butterfly Models (Steel Model Kit)

These amazingly detailed DIY model butterflies start as 4” square stainless-steel sheets and finish as amazing 3D models. Use the easy to follow instructions to pop out the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at attachment points. We feature 2 models of Metal Earth 3D Butterfly Steel Cut Butterfly Kits:

• The Monarch Butterfly: the most familiar North American butterfly. Its wings feature an easily recognizable tawny orange with black veins and margins, there are two series of small white spots in the margins. This iconic pollinator has a wingspan that averages 8-10cm.

• The Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly: The Tiger Swallowtail is native to eastern North America as well as Turkey. The male is yellow with four black “tiger stripes” on each forewing. Females may be either yellow or black, making them dimorphic. The yellow morph is similar to the male, but with a conspicuous band of blue spots along the hindwing, while the dark morph is almost completely black. This model is based off of the female yellow morph.
